Welcome and thank you for visiting EmailASmile.com, launched by the Berg and Lundberg families in June 2005. If this is not your first time visiting our site, I'm sure you'll notice that we've added dozens of new high quality ecards. Because our families have personally underwritten all the costs associated with running EmailASmile.com, we've decided to begin charging a small annual access fee. Our Web site still contains no annoying ads and we are no longer offering free membership.

We're sure you'll agree that what we offer is worth paying for. As you can see on our home page, our current card collection focuses on the upcoming Fall and Winter holidays. We're excited to debut our highly interactive Thanksgiving, game, Christmas and video cards as well. There are many occasions to celebrate in the next few months and EmailASmile.com is ready to serve you with just the right online greeting. And of course we'll be adding more new ecards for major holidays, events, and occasions in the weeks ahead.

The Berg and Lundberg families moved to a small town just a few miles north of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge in the 1990s after growing up in New York, New Jersey, Iowa, and Virginia. For many years, we have enjoyed sending online greeting cards to friends and family members throughout the United States as well as overseas.
We found that the online greeting cards offered by other popular Web sites often do not reflect the variety and quality of paper cards, and do not take advantage of the interactive and multimedia capabilities of the Internet. That's when we decided to launch an ecard Web site that strives to offer the highest quality online greeting cards available. Our ecards are produced by a talented team of independent artists, many of whom we have known and worked with for years.
About the Co-Founders
Christine Berg was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She went to the University of Vermont and after a short stint working in the Big Apple, she moved to San Francisco to be reunited with her college sweetheart, Jordan. It was a great move that resulted in a wedding in Napa, California in 2001. Christine also has Jordan to thank for EmailASmile.com's logo and home page design. Christine and Jordan have two children (son Ben and dog Charlie Girl) and enjoy strolling through Northern California's quaint towns and taking long afternoon drives throughout Marin County and beautiful Lake Tahoe.
Christine's career started in the entertainment industry working at Moviefone (a.k.a 777-FILM) and later moved into interactive advertising at a major media company. More recently, she works in the wireless space, helping to create compelling wireless offerings to all major carriers in the U.S.
Erik Lundberg grew up in California and Virginia and attended college in Vermont. After graduating, Erik moved to San Francisco. Erik has worked in the Internet industry with many Top 100 Web sites over the past 10 years and currently runs his own consulting company.
Erik married Deborah Finzen, a midwestern girl who grew up in Iowa, in 1994 and the couple had their first child in 1998. Their second child was born in 2004. In September, 2005, the family welcomed a 3rd addition to the family, but this time of the canine variety. They decided on a Havanese puppy, and named him Rico.
The Lundbergs enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, swimming, biking, listening to music, dancing, playing card games, and of course, sending e-cards. We launched this site with the Bergs because we enjoy the instant connection that e-cards sent to children, parents, grand parents, great-grandparents and close friends bring to our family. In the months and years ahead, we look forward to helping you send warm smiles over the Internet to your friends, family and loved ones using EmailASmile.com.
